Assassin’s Creed: Origins PC System Requirements

Assassin's Creed Origins Desert

The latest entry into the stealth-action series, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, is due to be released on 27th October 2017. In time for its release, Ubisoft has released the minimum and recommended specifications for players jumping into the game on PC, which you can see at the bottom of this post.

From the blog entry, this version of Origins has apparently been built and developed alongside its console variants; instead of a simple port job at the end of development. Saying that the “PC platform overall is really important to us”, it’ll be interesting to see how it performs on the wide variety of hardware. We managed to try the game on the new Xbox One X console and even though it looks stunning, there was some noticeable stuttering, so hopefully, that doesn’t copy over.

In terms of gameplay, we got a hands-on session at EGX and you can read our full impressions, here. With all of the changes made to Origins, we said that when playing, “you end up feeling nothing like a true assassin, and more like an Egyptian rebellious warrior”.
