In a few days, the PC beta for Call of Duty: WWII will finally begin and right now, players are able to preload it on Steam, ready for its September 29th release. Starting on this day, it’ll run all weekend and will end on October 2nd. Call of Duty: WWII is, no doubt, one of the most anticipated games of this year and I’m incredibly excited to get in on the action early!
Included in the beta event will be four maps; Pointe du Hoc, Ardennes Forest, Gibraltar and Aachen on four different game modes; Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint and Kill Confirmed. The five Divisions will be unlocked for everyone and the level cap will increase to 35 over the weekend, which will allow players to unlock new weapons and gear to test. Of course, the content inside this beta is only a select amount from the full release, so expect a tonne more weapons, maps and modes.
The team are hoping to use the data from the beta to polish up the game for its full release in November. However, there’ll be 4K support, framerate slider, FOV slider, rebindable keys, controller support and among some others that’ll be included in the beta.
