Since its Early Access release a few months ago, id Software has continually added content to the awesome Quake Champions. Following that same trend, just in time for Christmas, there’s going to be a huge, free update to the game on December 14th.
Firstly, Keel will be returning from Quake 3 Arena to stir up some more bloodshed. Armed with the Grenade Swarm ability to launch a barrage of grenades, it’ll definitely be interesting to see how he will fit in amongst the current roster. Keel will be free to all owners of the Champions Pack or purchasable for Platinum for base players. Next, Vale of Pnath will be the new map; built as a shrine for the Elder God Ithagnal, it will house some frantic 1v1 and 2v2 duels. It’ll be free to everybody.
Lastly, what good is a Christmas update without some extra festive goodies? Players can expect to see a wealth of customisation options added, including Champion and weapon shaders, decorations, hats and much more.
