Releasing back in October for PC players, it was only a matter of time before Warframe update its console counterparts and today, the free Plains of Eidolon expansion has officially launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users.
Within the Plains of Eidolon, players can expect to see a massive amount of fresh content, all built from the ground up to support this huge, open landscape. Up to fifty players can meet and greet each other in the Tenno basecamp, Cetus, in which you’ll be receiving new missions from the race of Ostrons. As you head out into the map, you’ll be tasked with hunting down older and newer variants of the Grineer and whilst everything seems rather peaceful and normal at day, only the tougher players will want to find themselves out in the open once the sun goes down, since you’ll come across all sorts of more dangers.
On top of this, be prepared to quest for the new Warframe, Gara, whilst making some advancements on gearing for the new weaponry. There’ll also be some little mini-games such as mining and fishing. See the trailer below:
